Roselare Brewery & Tap Room Opening in Roselle November 10

Pollyanna Brewing Company is officially opening the doors to Roselare Brewery & Tap Room, 245 E. Main St., Roselle, on Friday, November 10. Brewery hours are noon to 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday, and noon to 7:00 pm on Sunday.

Roselare Brewery & Tap Room includes a brewing area, a 97-seat tap room, a 3,000 square foot German-style beer garden, and a small retail area. Roselare is a name that, according to founders at Pollyanna, is derived from two inspirational locations; the historic West Flanders city of Roeselare, Belgium and Roselle, IL. Pollyanna Brewing Co. was established in 2014 in Lemont, IL, where it also operates a taproom and "fermentarium."

According to Roselle Economic Development Coordinator Natalie Engel, Roselare will be a destination business that will bring in patrons from the entire Chicagoland area. In addition to offering live acoustical music some evenings, Roselare plans to host several special events each year. Pollyanna Brewing Company is a craft brewery that specializes in mixed culture fermentations and wood aging experiments, and has imported two new oak foudres for the Roselle location. The tap room at Roselare will operate on a bring-your-own-food model, including delivery from local restaurants and food trucks.
