School receives $10,000 donation from Burlington Stores

Burlington Stores Inc., through its partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, donated $10,000 to Eisenhower Junior High School in celebration of its new store on Roselle Road in Hoffman Estates.

Tom Floore, Burlington's regional vice president, along with Dan Hoss, manager of the Hoffman Estates store, presented the check to Eisenhower Principal Heather Wilson and Assistant Principal Amy Houlihan during an assembly at the school Oct. 27.

"On behalf of the students and staff at Eisenhower Junior High, I would like to thank Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org for this generous donation," Wilson said.

The donation will provide staff members with funding for classroom materials that directly impact the more than 600 students at Eisenhower.

"This is a way our community is here to help support your success," Wilson told the students.
