St. Thomas the Apostle's 20th annual craft fair Nov. 11-12 to feature over 30 artists

More than 30 area artists, including several award winners from Naperville, will display and sell their works at the 20th annual "Celebration of the Arts" fine art and craft fair Nov. 11-12 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville. Exhibit hours in the ministry center of the church are: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

Artwork for sale will include two- and three-dimensional art and crafts in various media including acrylic, watercolor and oil paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry, pottery, wood sculpture, and fiber arts.

Admission to the art fair is free and will be handicapped accessible. A portion of the proceeds from sales will go to the Twinning Education Program benefitting the schools that St. Thomas supports in Duchity, Haiti. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.

Sponsored by the St. Thomas the Apostle Celebration of the Arts ministry, the annual event provides a great way for people to become better acquainted with area talent and to purchase fine art and unique gifts. Committee co-chairs are Kathy Fife and Kevin Pranaitis.
