Corboy & Demetrio Managing Partner Robert J. Bingle Named to 2018 Best Lawyers in America

Robert J. Bingle, a Hinsdale resident and Managing Partner at the Chicago personal injury law firm of Corboy & Demetrio, has been named to the 2018 edition of Best Lawyers in America.

This is the fourth year in a row Bingle has been selected in the categories of Personal Injury Litigation-Plaintiffs and Commercial Litigation.

Bingle is one of six Corboy & Demetrio partners chosen for the 2018 edition of Best Lawyers.

According to the publication, 7.4 million votes were made by lawyers of their peers, which were analyzed in making the selection. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."

Bingle, a plaintiff's trial attorney, has been involved in every type of personal injury and wrongful death case, and he has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlement involving railroad collisions, gas explosions and fires and other disasters.

Among Bingle's high-profile successes, he secured a $22.5 million settlement for the family of a Rockford woman killed in a fiery train derailment. He served as lead plaintiffs' counsel for the litigation stemming from the collision of a train and school bus in Fox River Grove, Illinois, which settled in excess of $25 million.
