Apply now for Virginia M. Wagner Educational Grant

Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago is pleased to announce the Virginia M. Wagner Educational Grant opportunity for women.

Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.

The Virginia M. Wagner Educational Grant is unique to the Soroptimist Midwestern Region, and therefore only women attending schools in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin are eligible to apply.

The Virginia M. Wagner Educational Grant is a financial award for women seeking a bachelor, master's or doctoral degree.

Applicants taking online courses or seeking degrees from online universities are eligible.

Information about the award and a downloadable application are available on the Midwestern Region's website at www.simwr.org.

At the Suburban Chicago club level, $500 is awarded to winners annually.

Winning applicants go on to compete at the district level and those district winners go on to compete at the region level ($2,500).
