Water Street Studios to host 'Project Fusion: The Big Reveal' fundraiser Nov. 11

Tickets are now on sale for Water Street Studios marquee fundraiser and masquerade party, "Project Fusion: The Big Reveal" at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at the studios, 160 S. Water St. in Batavia.

At the "Big Reveal" party, patrons who commissioned pieces from artists in April at the Project Fusion Artist plus Patron event get to see their work for the first time.

"The drama of the big reveal makes this event a lot of fun. Add in the masquerade, great food and cocktails and it's going to be a fabulous night," said Sabrina Martin, Project Fusion event chairwoman.

In 2015, a similar event, "Blind Date," raised $15,000 for Water Street Studios. This year, Project Fusion organizers hope to double that amount, Martin said. The fundraiser supports the mission of Water Street Studios, a nonprofit arts organization serving the Fox Valley area and beyond.

Danielle Hollis, executive director of Water Street Studios, said, "I've been looking forward to this event all year because it employs local artists, exceeds expectations of patrons, and rallies our community to support and appreciate the arts."

"Project Fusion: The Big Reveal" will feature appetizers from Gaetano's Batavia and a cash bar. There also will be a wine and dine pull, a silent auction, and artwork for sale.

Artist-created masks are being sold through the website, projectfusionblog.com, and will be for sale at the event.

Tickets are $50 in advance by Monday, Nov. 6, or $60 at the door. A limited number of VIP tickets, which include a pre-party reception and access to a private lounge for the evening with a separate bar, appetizers, and seating, are available for $100.
