GOP panel to talk pension reform in Schaumburg Oct. 28

The Schaumburg Township Republican Organization will host a panel discussion, "Pension Reform: Defining the Problem, Identifying Solutions," at its monthly breakfast meeting from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Chandler's Chophouse, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

The panelists will include Illinois Education Association Board Member Andy Hirshman, Illinois Policy Institute Vice President of Policy Ted Dabrowski, Republican state Rep. Tom Morrison of Palatine and Illinois Teachers' Retirement System Trustee Bob Lyons.

The organization asks for a $13 contribution from members and a $20 contribution from nonmembers for the breakfast.
