Henhouse Prowlers to perform benefit concert Nov. 4

Equine Dreams, St. Charles Noon Rotary Club, and the River Corridor Foundation of St. Charles present the Henhouse Prowlers Benefit Concert Saturday, Nov. 4.

The concert will begin at 8 p.m. at the Norris Cultural Arts Center, 1040 Dunham Road in St. Charles. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. For tickets, visit fallbenefit.org.

Chicago's Henhouse Prowlers have a reputation for hard work and nonstop touring. Their songs are inspired by the roots of bluegrass. They have released seven albums with original material and traditional songs.

The band worked with the U.S. State Department on four separate trips to Africa, as well as Russia. They recently returned from another European tour this summer. They continue to push the envelope with original songwriting and an electrifying stage presence.

The concert benefits local nonprofit organizations Equine Dreams, River Corridor Foundation of St. Charles and St. Charles Noon Rotary Club.

Equine Dreams provides free therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted activities to adults, children and veterans with disabilities. The program is a PATH International Premier Accredited Center and PATH International Higher Education Member.

With the Fox River as its focus, the River Corridor Foundation's mission is to support projects that enhance the downtown riverfront as a destination for cultural, educational and economic opportunities that are accessible to all.
