COD Financial Assistance Office Hosts 'Life Happens'

COD students take part in "Life Happens!" an interactive event designed to help students become financially knowledgeable. Based off the board game "Life," students made their way through career, family and lifestyle milestones, discovering which aspects of life can be planned and which are determined by chance. At some stations, students were randomly assigned details of their lives such as career, education level, marital status and family size, while other stations allowed them to make their own choices. "Life Happens!" is part of a College of DuPage Financial Literacy program that helps students become financially savvy and gain better understanding of budgeting, savings, credit, credit scores and debt.
