Trick-or-treat at Spring Valley Nature Center

Youngsters in the Schaumburg area are invited to trick-or-treat from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 at the Schaumburg Park District's Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road, and its Volkening Heritage Farm, 201 S. Plum Grove Road in Schaumburg. Visitors will explore the nooks of the nature center and travel from building to building at the farm and gather goodies along the way. Wagon rides between the two sites also will be available. Admission is free and all ages are welcome. "What better place to take your kids trick-or-treating than a nature center where they can walk the trails and see friendly creatures in costumes?"
