Woodland District 50 Offers New Phone Application

Woodland District 50 families on the go now have a new, free mobile application available to them. Called WoodlandCCSD50, the application is included in the district's most recent rollout of a new website hosted by Blackboard.

Families will see district news and Woodland's social media posts on Facebook and twitter, plus they may select from the following information: (color-coded) calendars, Family Access, lunch menus, staff directory, Middle School athletics, music boosters/band, PTA, or Wildcat Rescue Center (laptop information).

All Apple users need to do is download it onto their IOS devices (iPhone, IPad, iPod) from the Apple App Store. The Android version for Google smart phones and tablets is available through Google Play.

"Woodland is among many school districts that know an increasing number of families are looking in the palms of their hands to see school information rather than sitting in front of a computer and we hope this new tool provides them with the access they need," said Dann Giesey, Director of Technology for Woodland District 50.
