St. Charles Golden K Kiwanis install new officers
St. Charles Golden K Kiwanis Club installed new 2017-2018 officers at the 16th annual Installation Banquet held Sept. 21 at the Dunham Woods Riding Club in Wayne. The Honorable Clint Hull, Judge in the 4th Subcircuit, was the guest speaker.
Many thanks to Division 10 lieutenant governor Karen Maki for attending to officiate the retirement/installation of the officers and board members for the old and new fiscal years.
The officers are Tico Conover, secretary; Pat Kitner, president; Catherine Harrington, treasurer and Peter Herbert, president-elect.
The board includes Ginny Minard and Marie Hammel, 2018; Nancy French and Kathy Brens, 2019; and Susan Jump and Jon Duerr, 2020.
Congratulations to Kiwanian of the Year Johan Bayer for responding so gracefully when "Kiwanis Calls."
Kiwanis is an international service organization that locally supports numerous youth and children's programs including the Builders Club at Wredling Junior High School, and an international program to eliminate iodine deficiency syndrome in children.
The club meets at 9:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 E. Main St., St. Charles.
New members are always welcome new members to join in achieving our service goals and to help with making a difference in our community
