COD Hosts Disability Inclusion and Career Success Workshop Nov. 13

The College of DuPage Center for Access and Accommodations and Career Services office will host a Disability Inclusion and Career Success event from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, in Student Resource Center, Room 2000, on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Funded through the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006, the free event is geared toward students pursuing a career in the helping profession and students with disabilities looking to launch successful careers. The workshop features professionals with disabilities, employers, and experts in diversity and inclusion who will share their advice and experiences, give tips on standing out in the job market, and offer recommendations for disability disclosure.
