The public is invited to attend an upcoming Community Forum, sponsored by the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, October 19, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Palatine Village Hall.

The event will provide information and updates to the community, including new initiatives, projects and other news from the local public entities. The presenting groups will include the Village of Palatine, Palatine Township, District 15 and District 211, Harper College, the Palatine Public Library, the Palatine Park District, Salt Creek Park District and the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce.

"The Palatine Chamber is looking forward to presenting this unique opportunity to talk informally, hear updates, and ask questions of our local government bodies," said Jan Wood, Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce president and owner of JP Wood Martial Arts America. "We guarantee our residents and business owners will come away with new information and a greater appreciation of everything our town, schools, library and park districts have in store for us."

The meeting will be held at Palatine Village Hall, 200 E. Wood Street in Meeting Room B, and begin with open networking and a greeting at 7:30 a.m.; followed by presentations from participating local public entities and time for questions and answers from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.
