Woodland Elementary East Recognizes ROAR Students for September

Gages Lake--Woodland Elementary East would like to recognize the following students for becoming our Thumbs Up Thursday ROAR Kids. Students selected as Thumbs Up Thursday ROAR Kids demonstrated Being Respectful during the month of September in a variety of ways throughout the school. The students will be formally recognized during the November ROAR Rally.

ROAR is part of the district-wide behavioral framework, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), theme. ROAR represents Respect, Ownership, Acceptance and being Ready to learn (ROAR). This is the ninth year Woodland Elementary East has implemented PBIS.

"We are honored and excited to recognize our East students that have made positive choices in and out of the classroom. By displaying ROAR values, we are confident our students will become role models at home and in their communities. We encourage all of our East students to demonstrate ROAR behavior each and every day, and these students went above and beyond our expectations," said Katie Culver, Assistant Principal of Elementary East School.
