Sun City Prairie Singers to host 'Sounds of the Holidays' concert Dec. 9

Sun City Huntley's Prairie Singers invite the community to its winter concert "Sounds of the Holidays" at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, in the Huntley High School Performing Arts Center, 13719 Harmony Road.

A great afternoon of fun and exhilarating entertainment are yours to enjoy at the winter concert. More than 60 residents of Sun City Huntley join together to produce the exciting and harmonious music.

This group has been a part of the entertainment activities of the Sun City community for more than 16 years. Their concerts are just a good example of the great energetic Sun City lifestyle they all enjoy.

The program will feature a variety of styles of music, including several old holiday favorites. A musical ensemble will accompany the chorus for an enjoyable afternoon of holiday music. The full chorus will relinquishes the stage to their affiliate groups, the Prairie Voices and the Sun-Tones for additional songs.

This is a great afternoon of holiday entertainment for family or couples. For ticket information, call (847) 659-1185. Tickets also will be on sale at the door. Tickets are $10, $3 for kids, age 2 to 12.

Join them for an afternoon of good music, featuring your Sun City Neighbors in the Prairie Singers, the Prairie Voices, and the Sun-Tones.
