Warrenville Park District Hosts Annual Fall Fest

Come Celebrate Fall Fun with the Warrenville Park District!

The Warrenville Park District is gearing up for a howling good time with its annual Fall Fest from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27 at the Recreation Center, 3s260 Warren Ave. This event is a great way for families to enjoy the season in a safe environment and will feature a fantastic lineup of activities for all ages.

Fall Family Fun Fest kicks off with a costume parade for little ghosts and goblins around the Recreation Center track overlooking the gym. Line-up begins at 5:45 p.m. and the parade begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. A costume contest will be judged right after the parade and winners in different age levels will receive prizes.

Participants can purchase $5 wristbands, good for unlimited play in all games and inflatable areas, craft, storytelling, photo booth, balloon twister and caricaturist.

Storytelling with Chris Fascione will run throughout the evening and kids will love the inflatables. Everyone will be a winner with loads of candy and prizes at the carnival games. Our Entertainment & Food tent is always a big hit with music by Judy Bridges and the Happy Wanderers. The concession area grill will be fired up and selling brats and hotdogs, along with chips and beverages, for families to eat outside under the stars or in the tent while enjoying the music. NorthStar Credit Union will provide the event's sweet spot with free Taffy Apples. New this year will be the Warrenville Bake-Off competition during the event.

"Throughout the event kids will enjoy the costume parade, carnival games, the Photo Booth, a storyteller and more! The Food & Entertainment tent provides great music while you enjoy freshly grilled food," said Sheri Potter, Warrenville Park District Fitness/Recreation Coordinator.

Fall Fest is sponsored by the Warrenville Park District, City of Warrenville and sponsored in part by the City of Warrenville Hotel/Motel Grant. Event sponsors are NorthStar Credit Union, Main Event, DeLacey Dental, Galusha Farms and Daily Herald.
