Village of Roselle Renames Street in Honor of Local Winery

The board from the Village of Roselle recognized Lynfred Winery for their long-time commitment to community involvement by dedicating 4th Ave. between Elm St. and Main St. in Roselle as Lynfred Lane on September 30.

The dedication of Lynfred Lane kicked off Lynfred Winery's 37th Annual Oktoberfest, Pig Roast and Grape Stomp and was attended by winery guests, staff and family of Lynfred Winery's late founder, Fred Koehler.

Lynfred Winery has been open in Roselle since 1979. According to Roselle Mayor Andy Maglio, Lynfred Winery helped make Roselle's town center, and the greater community, a destination that people want to visit. "Not only are they a world-class winery and bed & breakfast, they are an incredible community partner. Thank you, Lynfred Winery, for recognizing that great communities are made when businesses and organizations work together!" said Maglio.
