A family/group of four may register for a reduced rate of $100. The registration fee includes a long-sleeved event t-shirt (for those registering before October 15), professional chip-timing, refreshments, prizes and entertainment. Winners of age group awards will be announced at 10:45 a.m.

"We are excited for this family-friendly event," said Susie Miller, Turkey Trot organizer. "It is difficult to find races in our area at this time of year so we are looking forward to providing runners of all calibers a morning of exercise and fun."

Miller added that the Turkey Trot is meant to be fun for the entire family, not just seasoned athletes. "This is the perfect race/fun run for anyone looking to kick off November with a little exercise and a lot of fun!"

Packets may be picked up at the Prince of Peace Parish Office from 12-5 p.m. on Friday, November 3 or before the start of the race from 7-8:45 a.m. at the beginning of the course.
