Letters of intent are being accepted by College of Lake County to fill open trustee position

The Board of Trustees of the College of Lake County Community College District 532 (CLC) is in the process of filling a vacancy on the Board created by the recent resignation of one of its members, Dr. Philip J. Carrigan. The individual who fills this vacancy will be selected by the members of the current Board and will serve as a trustee until the next Consolidated General Election for open trustee positions April 2, 2019. CLC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees who are elected by the voters of Community College District 532.

To be eligible to serve as a trustee, applicants must reside in District 532, which includes Lake County, Illinois. Interested persons should send a onepage letter (fax, email, delivery, or mail) to: Karen Senase, Executive Assistant to the President College of Lake County President's Office, Room L223 19351 W. The letter should state why the individual is interested in serving on the Board, his or her relevant qualifications and experience, and any relationships or affiliations he or she has, or has had, with the College. Applications must be received by the College by 4:00 p.m. October 18, 2017, in order to be considered.
