Tapping into your own unique potential

The Glenbard Parent Series will present "The Many Paths to Greatness: Intelligence and Creativity Re-examined" with Scott Barry Kaufman at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at Glenbard South High School.

Kaufman is a cognitive psychologist who offers a way of looking at intelligence that goes beyond traditional metrics and can help people lead fulfilling and successful lives.

As Kaufman details his experiences as a child growing up with a learning disability, he will share techniques that can help students tap into their unique abilities, passions and personal creative potential, inspiring all to engage, dream big and believe in themselves.

A free pre-event dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Glenbard South, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn.
