St. John-Burlington to host Oktoberfest

St. John Lutheran Church, 13N535 French Road in Burlington, invites the community to an Oktoberfest celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14.

Cost is $10 for a pork chop or bratwurst meal, including sauerkraut, red cabbage, homemade German potato salad, and applesauce. Dinners also include beverage and dessert. Kids' hot dog meal is $3. Carryouts will be available.

There will be games, raffle, German music, and more. There also will be a chance to meet Adeena, the Lutheran Church Charities canine comfort dog.

Proceeds for this event will benefit St. John Lutheran Church, St. John Youth Group, and the Adeena Comfort Dog ministry.
