ChildServ, a nonprofit in Chicago dedicated to building better lives for children, recently partnered with 23 employees from Power Construction Company, LLC of Chicago to clean and make improvements to its group home for teenage girls in Downers Grove.
"Thanks to the amazing volunteers from Power Construction for sharing their time and talent to ensure our girls feel cared for and have a great place to live and learn," said Dan Kotowski, president and CEO of ChildServ. "We appreciate their commitment to helping our girls reach their potential and look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.

Byford, Power Construction's director of human resources. "We are proud to partner with so many great local organizations that are working hard to make a difference in the Chicagoland area. Power Construction Company is a 91-year-old, management-owned firm operating in and around the northern Illinois markets. The company's "Power with Purpose" program seeks to impact peoples' lives in concrete and foundational ways, including volunteering, raising funds, donating materials and coordinating special projects.

Since 1894, ChildServ has helped children and families who are at risk to build better lives and achieve their potential. The social service agency provides community-based programs, including foster care and adoption services, counseling, residential group homes, community support and early childhood education, to children and families in Cook, DuPage, Kane and Lake counties.
