Howl-o-ween Ball to benefit Hinsdale Humane Society

Howl-o-ween Ball, an evening of costumes and cocktails to benefit the Hinsdale Humane Society, will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Oct. 28, at Room & Board Oak Brook, 2525 22nd St.

A costume ball for adults, the event features a deejay from Fig Media, cocktails, heavy appetizers from Taste of Home catering, desserts, live and silent auctions, a paddle raise and more.

The event raises funds for the shelter's operations, community services, special programs, and this year will also help raise funds toward the shelter's future, larger home at the current Robert Crown Center in Hinsdale.

Tickets for Howl-o-ween Ball will be available at hinsdalehumanesociety.org for $125 per ticket.

"Our Howl-o-ween Ball guests come in such incredible costumes," said Mistie Lucht, Howl-o-ween Ball chairwoman. "The evening is so much fun from start to finish, but it's fun with a purpose and for a great cause - helping more homeless animals and providing animal welfare services for the community."
