Around the World Food Tasting to benefit Clearbrook

Come support Clearbrook's ninth annual Around the World Food Tasting event from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Arlington Toyota-Scion. This event is a food festival like no other, featuring 20 different cuisines from local neighborhood restaurants.

New this year, Around the World will be presenting three different food trucks that serve everything from barbecue to tacos to ice cream. All proceeds will benefit Clearbrook's mission of helping more than 8,000 children and adults with intellectual/development disabilities.

Register by Monday, Oct. 16, to receive the Early Bird Special Rate of $35 each or $30 each for groups of four or more. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $40. Children younger than 12 can participate for only $10.

This event offers not only great food, but also a cash bar, food demonstrations from Cook, Cork & Fork Cooking School, a choice raffle and games.

Participating restaurants include: Best Truckin BBQ, Bonefish Grill, Copper Fiddle Distillery, Gianni's Café, Lou Malnati's, Maggiano's, Mago Grill & Cantina, On The Border, Punch Bowl Social, Pure Juice Café, RAM Restaurant & Brewery, Seasons 52, Something's Cooking Catering, Spice Grill, Sweet T's Bakery & Cake Studio, Tap House Grill, The Crave Bar, Toasty Cheese and Toasty Taco.

Sponsors include Arlington Rental, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Meijer and Plante Moran.
