State legislators to give update on Illinois at Barrington breakfast

Local business leaders and the public are invited to hear firsthand updates from state legislators at the annual Barrington Area Legislative Breakfast hosted by the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce, the Barrington Area Council on Governments and Barrington School District 220. The breakfast will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at The Garlands of Barrington, 1000 Garlands Lane in Barrington.

Confirmed speakers include: Illinois Sens. Cristina Castro, Dan McConchie and Tom Rooney; Illinois Reps. David McSweeney, Anna Moeller, Tom Morrison and Nick Sauer. Illinois Rep. Fred Crespo is also invited to speak at the legislative breakfast.

Speakers will provide state updates and a Q&A session will focus on issues related to business, government, and education as well as audience questions.

Registration and breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m., followed promptly by the program at 8 a.m. and ending around 10 a.m.
