American Legion Auxiliary to host fall meat raffle Oct. 7

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Lake in the Hills American Legion Post 1231 will host a Fall Meat Raffle starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7.

Keep your barbecue grill out and come to the American Legion for the opportunity to win roasts, kebabs, steaks, gourmet brats, bacon, ribs, pub burgers, chops and more varieties of meat! There will be multiple winners per raffle.

This fundraiser is open to the public, so bring your family, friends and neighbors too. Snacks will be served and drink specials will be available.

Proceeds will assist with funding post events and keeping the post open for the benefit of all veterans and their families.

The August meat raffle proceeds were donated to the Algonquin River Relief Benefit.
