Grecian Delight Donates 20,000 pounds of food and materials for Hurricane Relief Efforts

Grecian Delight Foods, Inc., based in Elk Grove Village, Ill., is donating more than 20,000 lbs of food, serving materials and kitchen cleaning supplies to help provide meals to displaced residents and emergency personnel in hurricane affected areas of both Texas and Florida.

Grecian Delight has partnered with Operation Blessing International®, who will be managing the two donation trucks and distribution of the food to the Texas and Florida hurricane impacted areas in need of hunger relief.

"Out of concern for those affected by the recent events in Texas and Florida, we wanted to help provide meals to those in need while they work to recover and rebuild from these disasters," said Peter Parthenis Jr., president and chief executive officer of Grecian Delight Foods. "This donation wouldn't be possible without the efforts of our employees and relief partner".
