A night under the Golden Arches for Bednarcik Jr. High at the new Aurora McDonald's

On Monday, Sept. 18, Bednarcik Junior High in Oswego held a super successful McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Aurora McDonald's at 2230 S. Eola Road.

Sixteen teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to friends and families of Bednarcik to help raise money for clubs and student activities at the school.

The teachers and McPrincipal John Francis worked hard all night long cleaning counters, working the drive-up, singing for tips and selling pies in a pie costume!

Principal Francis, and McTeachers J. Scott Morrison, Laura Nemetz and Foreman all took turns in the pie costume to sell pies and raise money for the school. Many selfies were taken with these fun Bednarcik teachers.

9th Ward Alderman Edward Bugg even came out in support of Bednarcik. A special thank you goes out to Bednarcik Principal John Francis who organized the entire event.

The event was courtesy of the Aurora McDonald's owner/operator, the Schmitt Family.
