Sign up for Fall Iconography Workshop at St. George Church
St. George Byzantine Catholic Church will host a Fall Iconography Workshop on Oct. 8-14 at the church, 720 Rural St., Aurora.
This is an introduction to the liturgical art of the Christian East by iconographer Phillip Zimmerman.
The icon to be written is St. Ignatius of Antioch.
Painting and presentations will be held each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extra hours available if needed.
Great artistic talent is not required and supplies are included in the $300 registration fee.
Interested participants do not have to be parishioners of St. George.
Prompt registration is highly recommended as space is limited.
