Glenbard congratulates National Merit semifinalists

Glenbard Township High School District 87 is proud to announce that nine Glenbard students have been named semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship competition.

Semifinalists include Glenbard North High School student Samantha O'Connell, Glenbard South High School student Ali Siddiqi and Glenbard West High School students Ella Crowley, Grace Larrabee, James McHargue, Emma Pauer, Kellyn Powers, Teagan Ryan and Zachary Wang.

The National Merit scholarship program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. Semifinalists must advance to finalist standing in the competition by meeting high academic standard, receiving a recommendation from their principal and earning SAT scores that confirm the earlier qualifying test performance.
