Norge Autumn Ski Jump returns Sept. 16-17
The 32nd annual Norge Autumn Ski Jump Competition will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16-17, at Norge Ski Club, 100 Ski Hill Road in Fox River Grove.
Admission buttons are $10 from local merchants, $11 online or $15 at the gate. The buttons are good for both days.
Ski jumpers from around the country compete on the 70-meter hill.
There will be brats, hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, pop, beer, wine, and Jägermeister.
Children can try jumping on a roller jump and ski down the plastic hill.
On Saturday, the Junior Small Hill Competition will be noon to 2 p.m. with the national qualifier K70 "Big Hill" Competition from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
There will be live music by The General Store from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday.
From noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, the competition will be on the "Big Hill" (K70) only, with Long Standing Jump competition to follow.
