Hampshire-Henpeck HCE to meet Sept. 19

The Hampshire-Henpeck Unit of Home and Community Education will go on an outing to the Chicago Botanic Gardens for the Tuesday, Sept. 19, meeting. Members will be contacted by Jan Ihssen.

At the August meeting, members met at the home of Geraldine Rizik for a successful planning session. Also discussed was the November meeting with a Christmas project of door hangers for the Senior Center and a Christmas luncheon in December.

Upcoming events include: HCE Week Oct. 8-14; annual open house Oct. 11 at the Extension office, 535 S. Randall Road, St. Charles; monthly meeting Oct. 17 at Heartland Bank; and a "Lesson for Living" on eggs from 2 to 3 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Extension office.

All of these events are an excellent opportunity to learn more about Hampshire-Henpeck HCE.

Your input and suggestions are important in making the upcoming meetings informative and interesting.

Hampshire-Henpeck HCE is a member of Kane County Association for Home and Community Education. Its mission is to enhance the lives of individuals and families through quality, educational programs and experiences, encouraging responsible leadership and service to the community.
