Writers of all fiction genres and all levels of experience are welcome to attend "How to Write When Everything Goes Wrong" presented by multi-published author Allie Pleiter. The American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) Chicago Chapter will offer this free writing seminar at their meeting from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 8 in the Program Room of the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd.

Participants will discover how to keep writing, despite multiple distractions, moments of doubt and situations that can derail even the most determined writer. Allie Pleiter, who has sold more than 1.25 million books over the past 14 years in the face of incredible challenges, will share techniques for staying focused and moving forward. Authors who are traditionally published, indie published, or just starting out will all benefit by her advice, experiences and encouragement.

Writers do not have to be ACFW members to attend, and no fee is required. Anyone planning to attend should RSVP on the ACFW Chicago Chapter Facebook page or call ACFW Chicago Chapter President Lara Helmling at (877) 881-2133.
