Best of the Geneva Film Festival to be screened Sept. 9, 16

See "Best of the Geneva Film Festival" during the sixth annual St. Charles ArtsFest. "Best of the Geneva Film Festival" screens a selection of enjoyable short films from past years shown in their entirety. It includes documentaries, short narratives and animation.

On Saturday, Sept. 9, a reception begins at 6 p.m. with the screening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the St. Charles Public Library, 1 S. Sixth Ave. Reservations are required at www.scpld.org. Capacity is 75; reserve early.

On Saturday, Sept. 16, screenings will be held at 1 and 3:30 p.m., hosted by by Steel Beam Theater, 111 W. Main St., St. Charles. For more information go to www.steelbeamtheatre.org. Capacity is 90; first-come, first-served. Refreshments and snacks available for sale, including beer, wine and snacks.
