Resilience, good behavior focus of Glenbard Parent Series Sept. 13 events

The Glenbard Parent Series: Navigating Healthy Families will present three programs with Dr. Deborah Gilboa as part of "A Day with Dr. G" on Wednesday, Sept. 13. Gilboa is passionate about mentoring young people with character.

How to Teach Resilience to Young Children:

Learn how to use everyday opportunities to foster positive behaviors in tweens and teens without nagging or screaming.

Health Expo:

6:15 to 7 p.m.

Arrive early at Glenbard West, 670 Crescent Blvd. in Glen Ellyn, and receive free health assessments and giveaways from more than 25 organizations.

Start the Year Off Right - Raising Responsible, Resilient, and Successful Teens:

Learn practical tools to nurture resilience, build life skills, and help adolescents successfully launch to adulthood.
