Dundee Township Park District to host fall art show

The Dundee Township Park District invites the community to attend its Fall Art Show on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 8-9, in the Adult Activities Center at the Rakow Center, 665 Barrington Ave. in Carpentersville.

The evening begins with reception on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. The artists will be present for visitors to meet and discuss their works.

The show continues on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 100 paintings will be on display from a variety of area artists.

Watercolor, oil and colored pencil art work will be priced for sale.

There is no admission fee for the show and refreshments will be served both days.

A raffle will be held for a painting.

All proceeds from the raffle will go to the Dundee Township Park District Adult Activities Center.
