Aurora library hosts Cultural Fair to highlight local diversity

The Aurora Public Library's Eola Road Branch is introducing a new annual event - The Cultural Fair.

This special event will host cultural organizations from in and around Aurora to bring attention to the diversity that exists in this area. Churches, temples, restaurants, student organizations and community centers will set up booths so attendees may observe culturally significant artifacts, learn about each organization's mission and role within the community, and engage in discussions with people from different backgrounds.

It's sure to be a day of broadened horizons and community togetherness.

The Cultural Fair will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, in the large meeting room at the Eola Road Branch, 555 S. Eola Road, Aurora.
