Sign up for Sunset Doxie Derby Saturday
On Saturday, Aug. 26, the "Wiener takes all" in the Summer Sunset Festival Doxie Derby.
Whether your tiny racer or a sure-bet hot dog, a real long shot or a weenie wannabee, register your dachshund for the Sunset Doxie Derby, which will be held at 3 p.m. at the Bark Park, 927 Haligus Road in Lake in the Hills.
Race-day registration will be 1:30-2:45 p.m.
Pet donations of food and care products will be accepted for local pet shelters and rescues.
Registration fee is $25. Register at www.raceentry.com/race-reviews/sunset-doxie-derby. Only registrations with proof of vaccinations will be accepted.
