Applications due for Aurora Fiestas Patrias Parade

The Aurora Hispanic Heritage Advisory Board will host the 2017 Aurora Fiestas Patrias Parade, in partnership with the City of Aurora and Aurora Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and its Dollars for Scholars.

An annual tradition during the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, the 2017 Aurora Fiestas Patrias Parade will be on Sunday, Sept. 17. Step-off will begin at 11 a.m. at the corner of Benton and River streets.

The parade is a great way to share in community spirit and learn about the rich Hispanic cultural heritage. Special recognition is given to the parade unit that best represents Hispanic culture and traditions.

There is no fee to participate in the parade.

After receiving your complete application, Aurora Hispanic Heritage Advisory Board will send an email of acknowledgment. At that time, you will also receive staging details and maps.

No applications will be accepted after Saturday, Sept. 2.
