A New School Year Set to Begin at Woodland District 50

Woodland School District 50's first day of school for first through eighth grade students is Monday, August 21.

The first day of school will be a full day for students.

The first day for students in the Early Childhood program, Woodland Early Learning Experience and Kindergarten is August 22.

One of the largest elementary school districts in the state with approximately 5,900 students, Woodland School District 50 serves all of unincorporated Gages Lake and Wildwood and parts of Gurnee, Grayslake, Park City, Third Lake, Old Mill Creek, Wadsworth, Lindenhurst, and Waukegan.

There are four school buildings in District 50.

- Primary (Early Childhood, Woodland Early Learning Experience and Kindergarten)

- Elementary East (Grades 1-3)

- Elementary West (Grades 1-3)

- Intermediate (Grades 4-5)

- Middle (Grades 6-8)
