Adler Center Gets Ready for Open House, Group Guitar and Violin Classes

The David Adler Music and Arts Center announces registration group guitar lessons for young people. No experience necessary! Learn to tune your guitar, read notes and chord charts, and master basic strumming patterns as you play along to your favorite songs in a relaxed and welcoming environment. For ages 7 - 12, Mondays, from 5:30 - 6:15pm

Registration is also open for 2017-2018 individual music instruction in piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar, and ukulele. Visit www.adlercenter.org to browse a list of over 20 exceptional professional musicians and teaching artists. Find your perfect fit and schedule lessons that fit your schedule with options Monday through Thursday, and convenient Saturday hours.

Very young musicians, ages 3 -6, may also register for Suzuki FUNdamentals, a 12-week introductory class for students interested in playing violin. Begin Suzuki lessons in a small group setting (4-6 students). Upon completion of the class, students are ready to advance to private lessons. Parents attend classes and supervise home practice. Fridays, from 3:30 - 4:15pm.

Its year-round activities are designed to foster engagement and achievement in the arts for the people of Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
