Autism-based nonprofit to host golf outing

On Monday, Sept. 11, Have Dreams, a local autism resource organization, will host its annual golf outing, the Have Dreams Golf Classic, at the Itasca Country Club.

There are several on-course challenges, including a $10,000 Hole-In-One hole. The event will also include a silent auction, live auction and raffles. Lunch and a buffet dinner with cocktails are included for golfers, and a dinner only package is available for guests not participating in the golf portion of the event.

Registration for the outing will begin at 10:30 a.m., with lunch following at 11 a.m. and a shotgun scramble format at noon.

Have Dreams is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families with autism. Have Dreams provides best practice programs to individuals with autism, helping them learn important communication and social skills, enabling them to develop into contributing members of their communities.
