The Holmstad welcomes cultural media commentator and comedian Dr. Will Miller

Creating connections and restoring relationships are essential to enjoying a quality, stress-free life. On Wednesday, Aug. 23, Dr. Will Miller will present "Finding Happiness Through Connections" at 2 p.m. at The Holmstad retirement community, 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia.

A nationally recognized expert on coping with stress and living a high quality of life, Miller will explain how close friendships and family connections can positively impact a person's physical and emotional health. He will share tips on how to improve those connections to live a rich, more rewarding life.

Miller's unique background as a professional standup comedian, television personality, psychotherapist, educator and best-selling author of "Refrigerator Rights," along with his five graduate degrees, make him a recognized authority on modern life and culture.
