Say farewell to summer at Rock the Quarry

Celebrate the end of summer and the last weekend of the Quarry season with a rockin' good time at the Rock the Quarry concert Friday, Aug. 11, at the Harold Hall Quarry Beach. The fun night will feature family games, extended hours, and more.

There also will be music performed by Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band. From steel pans and strong percussion to driving bass and guitars, the Beach Bum Band's reggae sound will have you swaying like a palm tree. The concert is from 6 to 8 p.m.

Rock the Quarry is included in the daily admission fee, which is $8 for residents and $11 for nonresidents. Individuals also may enter with their Quarry season passes. There is also a "Buy One, Get One" daily admission coupon available in the Summer Fun Guide.
