Stop by Wayne Wine & Horse Fest to support local police department

Experience the beauty and fun of historic Wayne while helping support the Wayne Police Department with the Wayne Wine & Horse Fest on Saturday, Aug. 12. It will be 4 to 10:30 p.m. at Dunham Woods Riding Club, 33W333 Army Trail Road in Wayne.

Check out the exhibitions by Trujillo Dancing Horses and Wayne-DuPage Hunt. There will be an appearance by the Kane County Mounted Rangers.

Kids can enjoy the petting zoo or get a henna tattoo from 4 to 6 p.m. Try out the bouncy house from 4 to 8 p.m. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., take a horse-drawn wagon ride.

At 6 p.m., there will be live music by the Stephen Bores Band from "The Voice."

Fine wine tasting will begin at 5:30 p.m. There also will be craft beer and food.

Invite your friends, dress casually and have fun!

Admission is free to this kid-friendly event. There will be food and drink at reasonable prices.
