Crespo Co-Sponsors Backpack Distribution

State Rep. Fred Crespo, D-Hoffman Estates, is co-sponsoring multiple backpack distributions at multiple locations on Wednesday, August 10.

"Providing backpacks and necessary school supplies to students ensures that they begin the year with some of the tools and resources they need to succeed," Crespo said. "I am proud to work with Hanover Township, Cook County Commissioner Schneider and Centro de Informacion to make a strong start to the year possible for hundreds of students."

Locations distributing backpacks include the following:

Astor Avenue Community Center (7431 Astor Ave., Hanover Park, IL)

• Begins at 9 a.m.

• Must be Hanover Township resident

• Distributed on a first come, first served basis

• Hosted by Hanover Township along with state Representative Crespo and Cook County Commissioner Tim Schneider

Ontarioville Elementary School (2100 Elm Street, Hanover Park, IL 60133)

• Begins at 10 a.m.

• Hosted by Hanover Township, state Representative Crespo, and Centro de Informacion
