Funds raised by this annual event are used to operate an award-winning countywide historical museum, provide student and adult educational programs, and encourage countywide efforts at historical preservation.

The museum, 6422 Main St. in Union, is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, excluding holidays through September.

In addition to individuals receiving free admission as a perk of membership, throughout the summer season there are free admission weeks for residents living within townships/municipalities which are historical society members.
