Bartlett Center for the Arts now offers guitar

David Hain has joined the music faculty at Arts in Bartlett's Center for the Arts. He will offer a free guitar lesson at an open house from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at 215 S. Main St. Guitars will be provided and both group and individual lesson signup will be available.

Hain has been teaching music in the Northwest suburbs for 15 years, and has been recognized by the Golden Apple Foundation, Horace Mann Foundation, and PBS Digital Studios.

Using digital innovation as well as traditional instruction, he uses the best of new and old teaching techniques in his classroom and guitar studio.

Arts in Bartlett is an all-volunteer, nonprofit arts council in downtown Bartlett, where it offers a gallery for local artists, children and adult art and music lessons, as well as a children's and teen choir.
