Streamwood Woman's Club installs new officers

Another club membership year has come to an end and a new year is getting started for the Streamwood Woman's Club. The club is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, which is a major accomplishment.

The Streamwood Woman's Club is a nonprofit organization that focuses on community service, philanthropic ventures and social activities. On June 6, the new board was installed at Tony Spavone's restaurant in Bloomingdale.

The new board consists of Pat Diehn, president; Mary Jane Garvey, secretary; and Mary Henderson, treasurer. Other board chairmen include Jennifer Noble, membership; Chris Cannella, social; Marion Janiec, government and community affairs; Sharon Dean, health and safety; Naomi Walters-Lenoci, fundraising; and Mary Prosser, education.
